Hi, I’m Andrew Fry, founder and teacher at Olathe Mobile Piano Lessons.
I started this service with a simple goal: to make piano lessons fun, personal, and convenient for busy families. As someone who loves music, I know the difference it makes when learning feels like an adventure instead of another chore. That’s why I come directly to your home, saving parents time and giving kids a comfortable space to learn and grow.
My own musical journey began over 20 years ago and has taken me through a myraid of musical styles including classical, rock/pop, jazz, blues, songwriting, and composition. These experiences have allow me to design lessons where kids can sample a wide range of music and build a personalized path around their own musical spark.
My Teaching Values
Making Piano Lessons Fun – I use games, storytelling, and short-term goals so kids stay motivated and excited. Piano should spark joy, not stress.
Encouraging Self-Directed Learning – Every child has unique interests. I help students explore music they love, whether that’s classical pieces, pop songs, or even Mario and Star Wars themes, while still building a strong foundation.
Empowering Independent Musicians – My goal isn’t just to teach songs. I want students to learn how to learn music, giving them skills and confidence that last long after lessons end.
